First single off NY-based dream-pop band Noosa’s self-titled debut EP scheduled for a spring release. I’ve probably listened to this song over 6 times before posting. Simple yet complete the essential elements to drive you into dream status. Enough to develop interest for these new comers.

TRMRS is known for their high-power energetic performances and playing what they’ve coined as “Trash-Pop.” They will tour this Spring with psych/garage friends and favorites The Growlers, including some dates with Night Beats and performances at Austin’s SXSW. This spring the band will also share the stage with Unknown Mortal Orchestra, STRFKR, Nosaj Thing, and White Arrows. TRMRS will release a split 7-inch vinyl with Seattle band Night Beats in April via Volcolm Entertainment. As a preview of the release, two new tracks, “Goodtime Blues” and “Enter the Door,” are available via bandcamp.

NY-based Bright Moments - Kelly Pratt, multi-instrumentalist for Beirut, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, is releasing his Natives debut LP this week with Luaka Bop. Natives was recorded with Beirut’s rhythm section (Nick Petree and Paul Collins) and accordionist (Perrin Cloutier), as well as the drummer from Pratt’s former Afrobeat band Akoya. Bright Moments will be performing a CD Release show as a five-piece this week at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn, NY and has announced several performances at SXSW ‘12.

Creator of The Venom Blog and Mix supplier Gabriel A. has been making electronic/chill-wave music under the moniker Box of Wolves for quite some time now. His latest is a remix for NY-Base electro/pop band Kitten Berry Crunch’s single “DeadKittenDanceParty”. Box of Wolves is currently working on a new EP titled ‘Crawl’, a follow up to his ‘Courtship’ EP released summer last year. 

Kitten Berry Crunch also premiered an official video for “DeadKittenDanceParty” yesterday. Watch after jump:

People Get Ready - “Disappear”

NY-based quartet People Get Ready has announced the release of Rusty Greg Jherek Luke remix EP, out on March 6th with Quite Scientific Records. The original songs are from the band’s self-titled debut EP, whichDavid Byrne highlighted as one of the best releases of 2011 in his playlist on Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen. Remixers on the forthcoming EP include band member Luke Fasano, Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier,Jherek Bischoff from Parenthetical Girls, and Rusty Santos, who’s done production work for Animal Collective, TV on the Radio and Ariel Pink.
