Ra Ra Riot - “Beta Love”
The new single “Beta Love” off Ra Ra Riot’s forthcoming album of the same name debuted on NPR’s “All Songs Considered” today, with the blogosphere buzzing about the band’s transition from a guitar-centered rock sound to a futuristic synth-driven sound. The bouncy track is optimistically dance-driven with vocals reminiscent of Passion Pit; a far, yet not unsettling, cry from the band’s previous work. Beta Love will be released on January 22 on Barsuk Records. The New Yorkers continue touring through March, with dates alongside bands like Vampire Weekend, Joy Formidable and Passion Pit.
