Death Ledger is the Toronto-based side project of Kevin Donnelly, synth player and founding member of Birthday Girls. Death Ledger’s distinctive gothic sound draws from influences such as Crystal Castles, Salem, Clams Casino, James Blake, and Holy Other. Released in October 2012, Death Ledger’s debut EP has been described as a combination of witch house, post-dubstep, and chillwave. As a member of Birthday Girls, Death Ledger has performed alongside artists such as Metric, The Weeknd, Wolfgang Gartner, Young Empires, and Hooray for Earth.
